FEMA Assistance for Storm Recovery
Residents of Potter County impacted by Tropical Storm Debby from August 9-10, 2024, are now eligible to apply for FEMA assistance. This aid can help cover temporary housing, home repairs, and other essential needs such as medical supplies, food, and transportation costs. Residents who are displaced can also receive rental assistance for hotel stays or other living arrangements.
Additional eligible expenses include repairing or replacing essential personal items like vehicles, appliances, and tools, as well as covering costs like medical and funeral expenses.
