Office of Human Services Inc. (OHS) Town Hall Meeting

Pa. Dept. of Aging Secretary Jason Kavulich hosted a public hearing at the Gunzburger Building on Oct. 13 as he continues to review the Potter County Commissioners’ request to transfer administration of the county’s programs serving older adults to the Cameron, Elk and McKean County Area Agency on Aging. Several citizens offered testimony and posed questions during the hourlong hearing, during which Secretary Kavulich expressed confidence in the non-profit Office of Human Services Inc. (OHS). Potter County was represented by OHS before establishing its own independent single-county program in 1984. Secretary Kavulich is expected to issue his response to the commissioners’ request by the end of October
