Domestic Violence Awareness Month

The Potter County Commissioners formally recognized October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month and encouraged all residents to work in support of victim advocacy and perpetrator accountability. Representatives from A Way Out, including Dr. Dave Hyde (second from left), director, accepted the formal proclamation from (left to right) Commissioners Nancy Grupp, Paul Heimel and Robert Rossman. Also during the meeting, a victim of domestic violence testified about her experiences and expressed her appreciation to the county agency for its support.
