Help for small businesses
Small business owners in Potter County and anyone thinking about going into business can get some free practical advice from an expert source. For more than a quarter-century, the PennWest Clarion University Small Business Development Center has provided assistance in the county.
Aleshia Marshall, business outreach consultant, offers help in financial analysis, marketing, business plan development, funding sources, environmental compliance issues, management and other topics.
Marshall has held workshops for small businesses on topics such as Quick Books and Using Social Media at the Potter County Education Council offices in Coudersport. Additionally, Potter County Community Development Coordinator Kal Logue has frequently connected her with both new and existing business owners for free consulting services and other business resources.
