American Nuclear Society Hosts Informational Meeting in Potter County

Representatives from the American Nuclear Society held an informational meeting held May 11 in the Potter County Auditorium. The session focused on nuclear energy education, current industry developments, and opportunities for community discussion surrounding the future of energy infrastructure and technology.

Attendees heard presentations regarding the role of nuclear power in modern energy production, safety advancements within the industry, and workforce and economic considerations tied to emerging energy initiatives. The meeting also provided residents an opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with presenters during a public discussion period.

The Commissioners encourage residents to stay informed and engaged as conversations surrounding energy development continue both regionally and statewide.
